Thirukumaran Nagarajan

Thiru is a serial entrepreneur, having co-founded EduRaft (Education Classifieds startup) and Shout App (Location-based social network app) earlier. He holds a PGDM in Finance and Operations from the prestigious IIM Kozhikode.

On seeing a gap in the food distribution market and opportunity to add value through technology, Thiru founded Ninjacart as an on-demand grocery delivery company in 2015 along with Vasudevan, Kartheeswaran, Sharath, Sachin, and Ashutosh. He later realized the inefficiency of the current supply chain for perishable produce and pivoted the company to become an end to end B2B fresh produce platform. Thiru’s vision is to build India’s most efficient and largest supply chain company.

On seeing a gap in the food distribution market and opportunity to add value through technology, Kartheeswaran co-founded Ninjacart in 2015 as a B2C hyper-local grocery delivery platform with Thirukumaran, Vasudevan, Sharath, Sachin, and Ashutosh. However, they soon realized that while there was a high demand for an online market for fruits and vegetables, the traditional supply chain for perishable products was inefficient, and hence pivoted towards a B2B Supply Chain platform. Kartheeswaran’s vision is to build India’s most efficient and largest supply chain company.

Kartheeswaran was awarded the prestigious Forbes 30 under 30 in 2019 for his successful feats as an entrepreneur. He holds an MBA degree from IIM Ahmedabad.

Ashutosh Vikram

Ashutosh Vikram

Sachin Jose

Sachin Jose

Sachin is a skilled UI/UX Designer and has worked as an interaction designer for brands like Verizon, Commonfloor, and Byjus. He also co-founded the Shout App (Location-based social network app) earlier.

Vasu’s vision is to build India’s most efficient and largest supply chain company. He holds an MBA degree in Business Leadership from the prestigious School of Inspired Leadership.

Giridharan S

Giridharan S

Since joining Ninjacart, Giridhan has worked extensively on Sourcing operations of the Collection Centres across Indian villages. He manages the on-field sourcing team who is responsible for the onboarding of farmers and procurement of fresh produce. He is responsible for driving the cost-effective and timely processing of operations in the Sourcing front of the Supply Chain. At present, he is working on establishing more facilities across India and expanding to new locations.

Giridharan graduated with a B.E. from the National Institute of Technology, Surat. He holds an MBA degree from IIM Indore. He joined Ninjacart in 2016 as a Senior Manager and since 2017 he has been working as the Director of Sourcing.

Anto Clinton
Category

Anto Clinton

Anto leads the Category division of the Business. He helps determine the pricing for various SKUs that are procured by the business and works towards introducing new SKUs and product categories. He has also been vital for driving the expansion of the business to new cities and conducting research on untapped city markets. In this capacity, he helps groom professionals across India for Category roles, which is key for the expansion of the Business.

Anto graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from the College of Engineering, Guindy. His skills lie in Sales, Customer Service, Management roles, Media and Communication, and Event Planning. He joined Ninjacart in 2015 and is currently the Category Head for the company.

Dhileeban Matheshwaran
Analytics

Dhileeban Matheshwaran

Dhileeban heads the Analytics division of Ninjacart. His team is responsible for data visibility to all stakeholders from top management to ground level executives of the company. His work involves growth analysis of some of the key factors of the business like sales, logistics, category, operations, and profit and loss statements. He is also responsible for determining the ideal location for all facilities based on activity in the area to enable the growth of Ninjacart's customer base.

Dhileeban holds an MBA degree in Marketing from IIT Kharagpur. His skills lie in Data Analytics, Market Research, Requirements Analysis, and Team Management. Currently, Dhileeban is the Senior Manager - Analytics of the company.

Saravanan R

Saravanan leads Special Initiatives and Experimental Projects in Ninjacart. He is responsible for driving experimental projects by providing a framework that accelerates business growth in a new direction. He brings expertise in devising strategies and business models that have been key in launching new verticals or experimental projects for the company. He has also been an essential driver for scaling up the business to new cities. 

Saravanan holds a PGDM degree from IIM Ranchi. He joined the company in 2016 as a City Manager and currently, he is working as an Associate Director. 

Anurag Sharma
Finance

Anurag Sharma

Anurag Sharma is the Finance Head at Ninjacart and is responsible for driving all finance operations centrally across all of the company's Business Units. He started his career with Ernst and Young, and subsequently worked with B K Birla Group, PWC and Busana Apparel Group and thus, bringing in business acumen of industry and Big4 auditing and consulting field. He has held leadership positions in Indian and overseas companies in his experience of 15 years. 

As an established finance leader, Anurag has extensive and rich global experience including shareholder value creation, corporate governance, internal control processes, mergers and acquisitions, treasury and funding, investor relations, cost management, financial operations, legal, taxation, financial accounting, and reporting. Anurag is a Chartered Accountant, has a Bachelor of Commerce (Hons.) from Calcutta University, and is a Qualified Company Secretary.

Mohammed Aehthesham
Tech and Product

Mohammed Aehthesham

Mohammed is the head of Tech and Product at Ninjacart. He leads a dynamic team of engineers who are responsible for building the most cutting edge products made to optimize Ninjacart's Supply Chain, end to end. His expertise lies in conceptualization, designing and Scaling platforms. He is also building and scaling Ninjacart's Tech and Product teams and has been a key driver for the company's recent feats of up-scaling in the tech division.

Mohammed comes with 17+ years of experience in technology working in key roles at reputed IT companies. He holds a BE in Computer Science from Bangalore Institute of Technology. Mohammed is currently the Head of Engineering at Ninjacart.

Ben Mathew
Expansion

Ben Mathew

Ben drives Ninjacart’s expansion team that is responsible for penetrating new geographies and untapped markets of the country. Ben has been a key driver for the company’s expansion to multiple cities within a short time-frame while deploying cost-effective and sustainable business models suitable for each city. His passion and expertise lie in building disruptive products, accelerating rapid scale, creating profitable P&Ls, building impactful teams, winning market share, driving operational excellence, discovering customer insights, and empowering women.

Ben is an entrepreneur having previously founded Curryful, a homemade meal delivery service. He has 12+ years of experience in key positions from various reputed organizations. At present, he is Ninjacart’s Direct of Expansion.

Pravin Devanathan
Supply Chain Management

Pravin Devanathan

Pravin heads the Supply Chain division of the company. In his capacity, he strategises supply chain models and oversees the daily operations to increase its efficiency in the farm to shelf journey. His key areas of expertise are Business transformation & value enhancement, Procurement & supply chain excellence, Organization transformation & agility, and Retail excellence. 

Pravin graduated from IIM Lucknow and he comes with 12+ years of experience working in key roles at A.T. and Kearny across APAC and the Middle East. He has deep expertise in consumer industries gained through diverse projects with industry leaders in Apparel, FMCG, and Retail. Pravin is currently the Vice President of Supply Chain Management at Ninjacart.

Vamsi Krishna

Vamsi Krishna

Vamsi is a Director and a BU Head under the ambitious Infinity Vertical. He is currently driving the creation of a comprehensive play in the value chain of Potato by marrying his past experience as a Commodity Trader to Ninjacart's Technology and Product enabled solutions. As a Supply chain and commercial leader with experience in various facets of business, he is focused on developing strategies for growth and expansion and driving predictable and high-performing end-to-end chains. He grooms his team through the use of questioning as a tool to promote thinking and challenge existing paradigms that enables them to juggle between having a strategic mindset and operational excellence to the minutest detail.  

Vamsi is a believer of "business with a heart" and he is passionate about the environment and gender equity. He is an alum of the Institute of Rural Management Anand and Madras Institute of Technology with 12+ years of experience at ITC and Manhattan Associates.

Akhil Meshram
Supply Business

Akhil Meshram

Akhil heads the Onion Infinity Vertical of the company. He primarily focuses on the go-to market strategy and daily operation for the Business Unit. His key areas of expertise are planning and scaling the business, rapidly gaining market share, people management, bringing operational efficiency, and building the business for the future.

Akhil is a graduate from FMS, Delhi and has 13+ years of experience working in multiple Indian unicorns having founded his own venture in the past. He has deep experience in the consumer e-commerce space and has led PnL profiles with expertise in building businesses from scratch.  Akhil is currently the Business Head for the Onion vertical at Ninjacart.

Philemon Raju

Philemon Raju

Phil S is the Vice President and National BU Head of the Tomato Vertical at Ninjacart. He is currently driving the Strategy, Growth, and Expansion of the Tomato Value Chain pan India.

Phil has a knack for startups, being a serial entrepreneur himself, he has founded 2 startups and has raised multiple rounds of funding. His last startup, Platify Technologies, a commerce super-app was acquired by RMZ Corp. He went on to lead QuantCommune, a prop-tech venture of RMZ Corp as the Chief Business Officer and also played the role of VP Digital of RMZ Corp. He also founded ValueCart, a Full Stack Returns Management / Reverse Logistics & Liquidation Company, which got selected by the prestigious global startup accelerator YCombinator for the W-2017 Cohort.

 Along with his entrepreneurial journey, Phil comes with 12+ years of experience working at reputed companies such as PepsiCo, Dabur, Analytics Quotient, etc. He has all-around experience in Startups, Strategy, Products, E-commerce, Sales & Distribution, Technology, and coding. He is also an alum of IIM Calcutta.

Uday Kadam
Supply Business

Uday Kadam

Uday heads the expansive Veggies Department at Ninjacart. He is responsible for scaling Agri sourcing avenues and finding the best profitable supply lines at scale. He primarily focuses on the go-to market strategy and bringing operational efficiency in Farm and Market Sourcing. He also hones his leadership abilities to drive people towards success at a pan India level.

Uday comes with 14 years of general management experience covering sales, finance, supply chain, and strategy across industry-leading companies in the logistics, telecom and banking sectors. He is also a graduate from the Indian School of Business. Uday is currently the Vice President and Business Head - Infinity at Ninjacart.
